The development and maintenance of intelligent IT systems and tools is a clear priority in our strategy. One common barcode for the whole of Europe and the scanning of each parcel at each interface, as well as status availability online currently deliver this requirement.

With this new web portal and its expanded online functionalities in the Your-GLS area, our contract customers can benefit from a wide range of high-performing online functionalities that set a new standard when it comes to showing transparency with your parcels.

 


Sustainability – We respect our environment

With our “Think-Green” initiative, GLS demonstrates its commitment to environmental protection. A range of concrete measures across the group have been defined in order to reduce emissions, respectfully treat and use resources and optimise our waste management, such as route optimisation in each location, use of fuel-efficient, low emission vehicles and environmentally compatible fuels, consideration of ecological criteria when building new locations, increased use of recycling paper etc.
